Ira Joe Fisher holds an MFA from New England College and currently teaches poetry at the University of Connecticut at Stamford. Fisher's poetry has appeared in various literary journals and he is the author of the chapbook Remembering Rew, now in its second printing. He appears weekly on The Saturday Early Show for CBS, and has worked in radio and television for over forty years. He and his wife, Shelly, and their four children live in Connecticut.
